NRA High Power Rifle competition, also known as “Across the Course” (XTC), requires that your arms and body support the full weight of the rifle while shooting targets from multiple positions. Shooters are divided into various classes depending on skill level and type of rifle being used. (Military Service Rifle or Match Rifle)

Here at Boulder Rifle Club the 80-shot course of fire includes standing and rapid fire sitting at a standard 200-yard target. Rapid fire prone at a target that simulates 300 yards and slow fire prone is shot at a target simulating 600 yards. Rapid fire stages include a mandatory reload.

Match fees are $20 (Juniors and Ladies $15) for a standard match.  Championships are generally $25.  Cash awards are given by placement in your classification.
