Welcome to the Boulder Rifle Club’s Indoor Combat Pistol League. The Indoor Combat League has been developed to allow shooting enthusiasts an opportunity to share, learn, and enjoy the sport of action pistol shooting. Our goal is to provide realistic shooting scenarios, with controlled stress, that afford each participant an opportunity to improve their skills, while at the same time provide a friendly atmosphere. Times and scores are provided to allow each individual to measure progress. The Indoor Combat League stresses the following:

When?
The Indoor Combat matches are held on the first Friday of the month with match signup starting around 6:00 p.m., followed by the safety briefing at 7:00 p.m. If you miss the safety briefing, you won’t be allowed to shoot.Matches are open to the public and all Boulder Rifle Club members.Setup for the Indoor Combat Pistol match occurs at 5:30 p.m. on the Thursday preceding the match.
In order to encourage members and non-members to help in the staging of matches, anyone who designs, sets-up and assists in the running of a stage will receive a discount on the match entry fees.
What do I need to bring to the match?
You will need your pistol, a good holster, and enough magazines to carry 40 rounds of ammunition, magazine pouch, and 100 rounds of ammunition. You should have a stiff belt to hold your holster and magazine pouches.
Generally we will shoot a maximum of around 60 rounds for the match, the extra is in case you have a malfunction, or there is a range failure and you have to reshoot a stage.
You will also need hearing and eye protection.
There is absolutely no handling of firearms in the club room. Please bring your unloaded firearm in a range bag, preferably encased in its own gun rug or case. Inside the club room you may put on your holster, mag pouches,whatever other you feel necessary, and you may load your magazines and place them into your mag pouches. To place your firearm in your holster you must go to the safety area. On the indoor range the safety area is through the double doors on the west end of the club room and around to the right. You should see a table in front of an orange box that has printed on it “No Live Ammo”. While at this table and before holstering your firearm, please verify that your firearm is indeed unloaded. The recommended procedure for semi-automatic firearms is to ensure the magazine has been removed from the firearm, and to rack the slide several times and then visually inspect the chamber to verify that it is empty. Let the slide forward and then pointing at the orange box, pull the trigger and holster your firearm.
After the safety briefing there will be the stage walkthroughs where the stage designer will explain the specifics about the each stage and then the match will begin
